It’s progress not perfection.

It struck me as odd that someone would ever want to quick drinking. Quit doing drugs? What the hell could be so wrong with these people that they even, wanted to quit? Fucking quitters, everybody cuts and runs when the going gets rough, just what I didn’t need more of in my life.

I don’t quit! I was a writer! An actor! A well-connected criminal! A guy who spent most of his time around other career criminals and lowlifes in dark rooms with darker minds deep inside the bowels of society to get a story. Where else was I going to…
